Finding Hope, Inspiration and Encouragement

4 Key Strategies to Stay on Track with Your Vision After Starting

Stay focused and on Track!

You’ve made your vision clear; you know what you want to do and how you want to do it.

Why? Because vision killers are everywhere.

For some reason, there are those who delight in popping our bubbles, destroying our plans and making us feel like idiots for even trying to make the vision reality.

Choose friends who are positive but honest.

Second — don’t start second-guessing yourself

You have a vision; you wrote it clearly, made a few changes, set goals and steps, and created a plan to bring the vision to fruition.

Then, you start wondering — does that goal really fit? Can I do this? What if I’m just wasting my time?

Don’t let those thoughts gain your attention. Go back to your plan and keep it clear.

Third — be realistic about small changes you can make

Perhaps you set a goal that you just realized you can’t afford to fulfill. No problem — put it at the bottom of the list and begin saving money to meet that goal.

Minimal changes can enhance but don’t do too many of them.

If you do, you’ll wake up one day and realize your vision has become a cloudy mess. Small, very carefully considered changes can be good.

Too many changes can be destructive.

Fourth — Don’t doubt yourself

Don’t let negative thoughts or people into your life. Be determined but willing to ask for help in certain situations.

Again, be careful with who you get help from. You don’t need someone who believes they are meant to take over your vision and change it to be their vision.

Be firm and honest. It’s YOUR vision. It’s clear, and you’re keeping it that way. A good helper only does what you ask them to do.

Guard your vision and stay positive.
